{Reading time: 1 minute} My email went bezerk. Short version is that one software program blew up and I’ve had to redirect my email to a different account. That account goes to my phone and that means that ALL of my notification and coupon-like email is coming through my phone!
So, I’ve purposed today that every email of that type shall be opened. I am opening them, scrolling to the bottom, and selecting the option “click here to unsubscribe.”
As I’m doing so, I’m realizing that I’ve only used one coupon out of about 15 in the last 3 months. I spend more time clicking Delete than I do saving money. And my time is valuable. And I don’t recall getting a paycheck for clicking Delete last month.
I hope this post doesn’t encourage you to click to unsubscribe from my blog. You and I both know that I try only to write if I have something worthwhile to say. But I am encouraging you to see how much time you can redeem (and how much coveting can go away if the emails don’t come through) by unsubscribing from your notifications.
Have a productive day!
