Henry’s birthday was a humble but fun celebration. He got celebratory singing, a John Deere cake with butter pecan ice cream (nummy!), and a can of boiled peanuts!!
The picture is of him working to read his card from J. It was a card of Barack Obama that was set to the tune of the Name Game (Obama Bama Bo Bama Banana Fana MoMama…etc.). The trouble was that Henry couldn’t recall the tune, and so couldn’t read the card. Serious comedy!
Folks seemed to enjoy their cake more than getting a polaroid.
Annette does not like having her picture taken, so I had to take it while she ate. She let me take it with Travis, though. Go figure!
Henry’s party was nice. I pray he enjoyed it. You’ll have to ask him.
