Walking the mall between the metro’s Foggy Bottom and L’Enfant Plaza stations definitely took its toll on us all. It was that night that we enjoyed the company of the Clark family. Needless to say, we were all worn out. G awakened with me, despite my best efforts to sneak out of the bed. Emerging from the bedroom, I stumbled (literally) over my sleeping brood who truly earned the rest:
