6. The fear-turned-fascination of T with the entire Metro rail system. I think we could leave without seeing the White House and he’d be happy just to do another transfer from the orange line to the blue line using his day pass!
5. The silence of over 50 children at The Changing of the Guard at The Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington National Cemetery, proving that children can and do exercise self-control over their bodies.
4. Watching Henry reconnect with college friends; did his heart good. I’m not sure who was happier: him hanging with friends or me watching his heart overflow.
