It’s a bit dreary here weather wise, but we’re having a blast.
While at moms’ group today, G pulled at his ear with a bit of fussiness. Yes, he’s only 4 months and yes, that was only the second ear tug in 18 hours, but I’m an ear-infection nazi, so I called the chiro right away. Two hours later the chiroporactor observed G for possible ear infection. My precious baby was so out of whack that was causing congestion issues. We got home and he looked up at me with a glance that said, “Thank you, mom,” he sighed, and the little trooper went to sleep. Too wonderful…healthy child, no antibiotics! God is good!
Today was one of those days that had two lunches. One before the chiropractor and another after. So during “Lunch: the sequel” we read Burgess Bird Book for Children. The boys begged for the next chapter…so I left ’em hanging. I love that! They were so into Jenny Wren because they awakened this morning and saw a cardinal perched happily on a tree in the back yard. That bird sat there for the longest!
We took our popsicle stick rafts to the other side of the pond and sailed them. (Made them at library story time yesterday as part of the Spring’s Here theme.) Unfortunately, S’s’ went to the middle and got stuck and he said, “Go get it mommy!” My response?
“Um…no. ”
